The Christmas Story from the King James Version

The best known and most widely used translation of the Bible is the King James Version. As a result, the Christmas story is most widely known in the King James Version. This is the version that was read by Linus in A Charlie Brown Christmas.
We are especially thankful to God tonight because this year is the 400th anniversary of the reading of the Christmas story on Christmas Eve from the King James Version of the Bible. It was first published in 1611.
